Hi everyone, I'm Nick, the owner of Wild Yorkshire Lens.

Some of you may remember me as Nick Allott Photography.

The last year has brought some big changes. After 14 years working at the steelworks in Sheffield, I made the decision to leave and take a completely different path by starting my own grounds maintenance business. As you can imagine, getting a new business off the ground has taken a lot of my time and energy.

Somewhere along the way, I realised I'd drifted away from photography. What was once my biggest passion had slowly become something I'd stopped making time for.

That's why I've decided to relaunch under a new name: Wild Yorkshire Lens.

This time, photography isn't about building a business or making money. It's about getting back to why I picked up a camera in the first place. It's my escape from the stresses of everyday life, a chance to explore the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, enjoy wildlife, and simply do something I love again.

I'm looking forward to sharing my journey, my favourite images, and hopefully rediscovering the passion that started it all.
