CANDIDS 🤍 It’s a personal goal this year for me to be less intrusive, less directive, in moments that are true fly on the wall moments. Coming from a more directive approach and influencing moments to happen in years past… this has been a hard challenge for me!

I don’t want you to force kiss during the reception so I can “get my shot” — I want to catch you unaware in that moment like I did here with Angelica & Jake. As I’ve taken a small step back by taking less weddings, in consuming all the “trends” and in expecting a performance… I’m appreciating the small moments that helped me fall in love with photography. The candids. We’re all so in love with the candids 🥹
