Back to school for my kiddos tomorrow, and honestly, I have been down in the dumps all day. As much as I am ready for a schedule again and some peace in the house, I'm going to miss Summer more. No obligations, no late-night practices, no 5:30am alarms (THE WORST). We've had a busy, but relaxing Summer that went by entirely too fast. Cade's birthday celebrations, beach week with the cousins, boat days, swimming in the pool, lazy river tubing, lots of waking up at 10am, Cade getting braces, fun dinner nights with family and friends, an OBX trip, movie dates, lots and lots of fishing, kayaking.... it's been fun. I've never been a Fall girl, but I am ready for the August heat to fade. I'm also ready for "locals' summer" where I can enjoy my days off at the beach alone without crowds 😎
