I'm planning to be at the Ely Farmers Market again this summer, starting next Tuesday. So looking forward to the expanded hours! I have a few new products this year (still featuring my photography) including color changing mugs, luggage tags, magnets, wind spinners & more -- in addition to the usual prints, note cards, coasters, mugs, cutting boards, etc. Hope to see you there if you happen to be in Ely!

Here are my latest bird photos (as of May 19, 2026).

A couple of days of cold & damp weather have resulted in a lull in the migration action... allowing me to actually catch up on my photo processing. Hopefully, that's a temporary condition as warmer weather takes over once more and the migration gets underway once more.

All of these photos were photographed using my Nikon Z50ii camera with my new Nikkor 180-600mm lens. As usual, date, bird ID, location info and camera settings can be found in the descriptions.

I've been out and about doing a lot of bird photography this past week. I mean, a lot! I haven't had much time for editing and processing photos, let alone posting them. There were plenty of birds around to photograph anyway but then, this year's warbler invasion kicked into high gear mid-week. Unfortunately, the high winds of the last couple of days have kept the birds hunkered down... but then, it HAS given me a bit more time to get caught up.

So, here are some of my shots over the last few days, all taken in the Ely area (can't afford to take a road trip now!). Dates, Bird id, and camera info are included in the caption for each photo.
