Anywayyyyy, using these self-portraits of my handsome man and me as an excuse for this sappy late-night blog…

This time last year, I was genuinely unsure of how my future was going to look with my little business. I had so many hopes and dreams for it, but also a lot of doubt. I had ideas that I couldn’t act on while being in the “off” season, anxiety with three weddings coming up in the year, and zero content to share. All I could do with my time was learn and research, not knowing if spending all that time was going to be worth it.

This January, I sit with six weddings booked, a sprinkle of sessions, and so much excitement for the 2026 season! I truly am so blessed to be in the position I am in for only my second year. I thank my support system, I thank God, and I thank you — whenever you joined me along the way. I am so humbled and grateful for everything!

Today marks one year since I bought my first camera — the start of an incredible journey in photography and videography. I had no idea it would lead me here, but I’m so grateful for how much I’ve grown and for every opportunity along the way.

Here’s to more learning, creating, and capturing the beauty God places in front of me!

To celebrate, I would like to do a giveaway for one free photoshoot! All you have to do is like this post. You will receive extra entries for commenting, reposting (IG), and sharing on your story!
