Hey All! Figured I'd wait till not April 1st to share this post.

I just want to let everyone know we will not be doing any more weddings this year. We're still going to be doing senior photos and families though! Why? Well, we will be taking a break in the summer and early autumn because I (Larissa) am pregnant and due in August!

We're not sure how many autumn events we will be participating in yet either. With that said, make sure to come see us June 13th in Beaver at their annual Garrison Day and at the Ellwood City Art's, Crafts, Food, & Entertainment Festival July 3rd-5th. Put those on your calendar! They're great events and we'd love to see you this summer!

Last week we shot our first wedding of the year. Trinity and James couldn't have had a better day in March to be married! The weather was perfect, the wedding was simple and beautiful, and the reception was a lot of fun! Congratulations to this beautiful couple on finally getting married and we wish them a lifetime of happiness together!

It's getting cold out and we're facing the prospect of our first snow tomorrow! But let's check out a photo from September as I'm trying to get caught up on editing my own photos.

This was taken at Moraine State Park one evening. The light and such was just perfect.

I'm finally getting through some of my personal photos from this summer and early fall. I havent had the chance to get out and shoot very much. It's been a crazy mix of weddings, household remodeling, work at church, and just daily tasks like my day job and cleaning.

So let's kick on a few photos with this guy! This is a broad-winged Hawk (yes, I did have to look it up to get the exact name). I spotted him hanging out in Moraine State Park the one night I got out to wander around in late summer. I yelled for Doug to stop the car while driving through the park. Managed to get this shot from the passenger side window of my car.

I LOVE hawks. We see them a lot as they're super common here but they're not always easy to photograph. My favorite hawk story is one day I was driving my truck and saw something out of the corner of my eye. There was a hawk flying beside my truck! Flew along with me for about 50ft before I can to a stop sign and it flew across the front of the truck and landed a little ways away near a bush. Just a cool experience!

On September 20th we were priviledged to photograph Isabella and Donavin's wedding! They were high school sweethearts and have been together 8 years! I remember Isabella telling to me on two different occasions and she just wanted to be married and couldn't wait to be Donavin's wife. They're just so sweet and were an absolute pleasure to work with. We wish them a lifetime of happiness and joy! Congratulations!!
