Happy Halloween👻

A little October recap with some September sprinkled in since I completely skipped last month!

These last two months have been BUSY. Like, probably the busiest and most challenging season of freelancing I’ve had yet. Between lots of weddings, product shoots, fall menu shoots, getting to speak at Adobe Create Now, training a new puppy, celebrating two of my favorite brides-to-be, and saying goodbye to my grandma, it’s been a season of just about every emotion.

I’m realizing one of the hardest parts of working for yourself is learning how to balance it all. I’m SO grateful for the work, the opportunities, and all the amazing people I get to work with, but I’m also learning that I can’t do it all at once. Still figuring that one out!

Lots of good things happening behind the scenes, lots to be grateful for, and trying to soak it all in along the way. 🤍

A few more partners who made Saturday happen 💚

Tequila tastings, a little help loosening up, and a few extra reasons to get competitive.

Fall Scramble partner highlights, part 2!

Una Vida Tequila ®️ joined us before the round and out on the course with tequila samples and plenty of good company between shots.

Dr. Alec Morrison| Outcome Based Chiropractic helped us loosen up with complimentary treatment and took time to chat with the girls about keeping their bodies feeling good for golf.

Back Nine Golf Crestwood brought a launch monitor to the par-5 4th hole for our Longest Drive Challenge, with memberships up for grabs!

Coach Jack from STL Golf Training spent the day on Hole 2 for Closest to the Pin. Two of our golfers went home with lesson packages.

Pro Am Golf USA supported the day as a hole sponsor and sent every golfer home with a couple of gifts. More on those in our next post!

Thank you for giving us so much to enjoy throughout the day. We loved having you out at The Highlands!

There was a little more than golf on Saturday’s agenda 💚

Custom hats, jewelry shopping, a few positive affirmations before the first tee, and some attention to those golf shoulders.

A few of the businesses that joined us for the Fall Scramble (part 1!):

Ink & Patch Live Event Customization Co kept the hat press busy with everyone picking out patches and making something of their own.

Citrine Counseling LLC gave us some pre-round encouragement with their positivity mirror and conversations about mental wellness. They also brought custom cookies and donated two generous raffle baskets!

Joya brought a table full of jewelry to shop and donated four beautiful necklaces as prizes for our winners.

The Well Yard | St. Louis Rehab Chiropractor offered complimentary soft tissue work before the round and put together a recovery basket for one lucky raffle winner!

Thank you for spending your Saturday with us and giving the girls plenty of reasons to arrive early. We loved having you!

Wow wow wow, what a night!!!

So grateful for the opportunity to share my work at Adobe Live Community Create Now St. Louis 🎨 Huge thank you to Meghan Arnold Andrew Hochradel St. Louis Design Week for putting together such a fun event and for letting me be part of it.

If you know me, public speaking is definitely not my favorite thing but I knew I couldn’t pass up the chance to get up there and talk about the work I love doing and the business I’ve built. Definitely pushed myself out of my comfort zone, and I’m so glad I did.

I got to meet so many amazing people and creatives throughout the night, so thank you to everyone who came up to chat or shared a kind word. And a huge thank you to my people who showed up and supported me, seeing so many familiar faces in the room meant more than you know ❤️

And one of the coolest parts of the night was having a few people tell me that I inspired them. That one really caught me off guard. I don’t always feel like I have it all figured out, so hearing that just by doing what I love and building something of my own, I’m showing other young women that they can do it too (& they can!!!)

Still feeling all the love from last night. 🫶🏻 Thank you, St. Louis!

DRIP💧☀️

So excited to share the branding I created for Drip Sweat Charleston DRIP

I loved getting to work with them on this project, and it’s been so cool seeing the logo go from an idea on my screen to something they’re bringing to life.

Their studio is still coming together, with an opening on the horizon, and I can’t wait to see everything continue to take shape. 🤍

So excited to share that I’ll be presenting at Adobe Create Now: St. Louis Design Week! 🎨✨

On October 6, Adobe is coming to St. Louis for an evening of creative inspiration, practical tips, new tools, and connection with the local creative community. I’ll be joining as one of the local creators along with xanderLOVE

I’ll be talking a little about my journey as a St. Louis creative, my work in commercial photography + brand design, and the process behind some of my favorite projects.
