POV: Setting up an interview at the Baltimore Museum of Art. 🎥
Filming in a gallery comes with some unique considerations. From protecting the artwork and managing reflections to balancing color temperatures and controlling sound in a naturally reverberant space, there’s a lot of intentionality behind what might look like a simple interview setup.
One thing I don’t take for granted is how fortunate I am to work full-time at the BMA. Getting to combine my love for filmmaking with an environment dedicated to art, creativity, and storytelling is something I’m incredibly grateful for.
Every day brings something different, and I get to work alongside some genuinely talented people who care deeply about what they do.
It’s a pretty special place to call work.
Filmmakers, what’s been your favorite or most unique location to shoot in?
