A family who loves to dance and moves together - stays together!
Sweet exploration at photo sessions make for a lot of fun (and maybe just a wee bit of distraction 😉). We found a mama duck and bunch of ducklings, and a bunch of baby bunnies. They really captivated our attention - and brought smiles that are nothing short of pure joy.
Ally and Max, you two parent with such enthusiasm, encouragement, and patience. Your kids are fun, lively, and SO SO SO ADORABLE. Thank you for all of the laughter and all of the sweet dance moves. 😄

It's a gift to come home from a trip to reconnect with clients at a fabulous session like this one.
Shelly and Bill - you have a wonderful legacy. Your family is full of rich love for one another, and that is a testament to the example you've given your family.
The hugs, laughs, and joy is genuine. I am so lucky that I get to spend time with such incredible and caring people. Thank you!

These are the moments that make family photography so special. 💗
Mom and Dad are beyond wonderful. They are the kind of people whose love, kindness, and laughter make every moment feel effortless. Watching them with their little ones was such a beautiful reminder that the sweetest photos come from genuine connection.
And can we talk about big sis for a second? She showed up ready to be a little model! From the moment we started, she brought the smiles, the confidence, and all the personality. She absolutely stole the show more than once...and I loved it! 😍

Some photo sessions are beautiful because of the setting. Others are beautiful because of the people. This one was a perfect blend of both.
The Boerner Botanical Gardens were beyond stunning, and I was SO excited to shoot there for the first (hopefully not the last) time! But as gorgeous as the gardens were, they couldn't outshine this radiant mama-to-be.
Beth has a warmth about her that simply draws people in. The love she already has for her baby is so evident, and it's impossible not to see what a wonderful mother she will be.
It was such an honor to capture these memories. Can't wait to meet their little man later this summer!

I look forward to seeing these two every year. It's amazing to watch them grow and see their personalities flourish.
Big Bro is an old soul. We talked a lot about fishing and flying drones. He's definitely one of the sweetest boys on earth.
Little sis is full of dance moves and inspiration. She loves her big brother most of all. I think dancing comes in second place. And, boy, does she got the moves! :)

Well hello Hernandez fam! 👋
It has been SO wonderful to capture engagement, wedding, and maternity photos for this family - and now we can say family photos, too! It is ALWAYS fun to see past clients, but it is even more fun to watch clients love on their babies.
This little dude wanted to cruise all over Retzer. Outside is his playground - and he wanted to explore. Mom and dad knew he'd be excited to get out and play, and it makes for some sweet and genuine moments.
Desiree and Ryan - SO wonderful to see you both and meet your sweet little guy. 💗

This little guy turns 4 tomorrow. Isn't he ADORABLE?! 😍
I got to spend last night with this incredible fam! All 3 boys were SO wonderful. They brought just the right amount of energy and goofiness to make it fun - but they also brought happy smiles and kindness.
Megan and Al - you are exceptional parents. You have fun with your kids, and it is SO obvious how much you all care for each other. Thank you for asking me to take your photos. 💗

I REALLY struggled to limit myself to 10 images of this family. It's a good problem to have. 🙂
It really was the most perfect night at the beach. The girls brought their a games - with genuine giggles and lots of fun.
These two parents are relaxed and fun. They clearly adore their beautiful little girls - and it is SUCH a blessing to get to witness that pure joy.
Can't wait for more warm weather sessions! 😍

Lydia is another 2026 soon-to-be graduate! 🎓
She commanded the energy of the entire Woodstock square with confidence and grace. She's intelligent, kind, talented, and going to have a future filled with so much brightness. I can't wait to hear all of the incredible things she will accomplish.
I don't ever have professional models in front of my lens. Some people have natural gifts in front of the camera. Lydia is that girl.

Here's to John! He graduates this week from high school. 🎓
Here's a guy who is laid back, kind, and has a great had on his shoulders. He plans to be an electric lineman (all while saving money up during his apprenticeship - so smart!). Good luck, John!
Also - can we just have a minute for his hair?
Fun fact - his (INCREDIBLE) parents were my first bosses ever at an awesome restaurant called Dynamite Dogs. I loved them from the very beginning and still love seeing them today. 💗
