Real quick brag. Kalona SuperNatural, a national organic dairy brand out of Iowa with 40K followers, reshared our video today. Added it to their story. Dropped a comment on the post.

This is the kind of work we do.

Product and commercial photography. Booking through fall. Site's in the comments.

Some days we serve others before ourselves.

A friend who runs Elevate Ohana, a homeschool co-op, asked me to photograph the kids at their entrepreneur fair. One kid walked in, looked at his photos on the laptop, and told me one was slightly out of focus. HE WAS RIGHT. We shot it again.

Eleven kids. Real businesses. Real professional photos.

The full story is on the blog.

Mad Lad Visuals showed up to photograph young entrepreneurs at Elevate Ohana's homeschool co-op entrepreneur fair at Capitol City Baptist Church in Elk Grove. Real professional photos for real small business owners, because the calling was there.

I wanted to share this for people who have been burned by product photos that looked fine but didn't do the job. I have seen way too many photos on legitimate websites that have dust or crinkled packaging that could have been fixed. And these are well known brands too.
A few things worth knowing before you book anyone.

Nobody's counting, right?
One of two mad lads. The other one is my son. If you've booked with us, you've probably met him.
More to come.

The hands in this photo are my son and daughter.

We spent the day at Mr. Brown’s Brisket Society pop-up. A family-run business, brisket smoked low and slow, and a line of people who showed up because the food is that good. I brought my camera along because this is the kind of work we love documenting. Real small businesses built by people who took a risk and put their name on something. The kind of places that make a community feel like a community.

When small businesses thrive, the community thrives. That’s why we keep showing up.

(And yes, Dusty Baker stopped by. The food is that good.)

Mr. Brown’s Brisket Society — go find them.

A few weeks ago we attended the 20th Annual Taste of Elk Grove to document Lilyz African Cuisine. Before the night was over, the event coordinator asked us to cover the broader event.

That kind of shift doesn’t happen by accident. It comes from being prepared, aware, and ready to step in when it matters.

We wrote about what that night looked like from behind the lens:

Mad Lad Visuals covered the 20th Annual Taste of Elk Grove. A look at what happens when we show up ready and the community shows up for one of their own.

It started with an inquiry.
We didn't start pricing.
We met for coffee.

Some client relationships start with an inquiry form. This one started with coffee. A look at connection, community, and the story behind the work.

Taste of Elk Grove.
Full room, constant movement, and more happening between the booths than most people realize.

One product shot. A little After Effects. And somehow it came together like this.

We made it pop.. literally.

Every detail. Every shoot. On purpose.

At Mad Lad Visuals we don't do boring.
