If I had to choose a favorite milestone session, it would always be the sitter session...

You can’t tell me there is anything sweeter than those gummy smiles, chubby baby rolls, and those bright little eyes that are so curious about the world around them. They’re sitting up on their own but still so undeniably baby, and it’s one of those stages that passes in the blink of an eye.

It’s the milestone where you really start to see who they’re becoming while still holding onto all those tiny baby features you never want to forget. And honestly… it’s pure magic to capture.

There is something so incredibly special about those first few days with your brand new baby. The sleepy stretches, tiny fingers wrapped around yours, soft little yawns, and the overwhelming love that fills the room... these are the moments that deserve to be remembered forever.

Newborn sessions are all about preserving this sweet season exactly as it is, before they grow and change far too quickly. And they really do change far too quickly. One day, these images will take you right back to the feeling of holding your tiny baby in your arms for the very first time.

As another school year comes to an end, I can’t help but get emotional looking back at old photos of my own babies. It truly feels like we blinked and suddenly another milestone has passed. 😭

That’s why I will forever say... TAKE THE PHOTOS.
