Kelly Hourigan Photography is our November Artist.
Kelly is drawn toward vivid colors and printing on different mediums to draw out the vibrancy. Whether it is photographing the nostalgia of an amusement park, capturing the beauty of flowers in bloom or discovering an interesting piles of brightly colored buckets at an antique show, she finds color and light in ordinary things we all take for granted.
All of Kelly's pieces are available for sale and can be ordered in other sizes if needed.

I had an amazing experience on Friday. While participating in Melrose Art Walk, I was contacted by a woman interested in purchasing this Skee-Ball image printed on metal that I had displayed. She came to pick it up Friday and told me the story of why she wanted it. Her family had a tradition of playing Skee-Ball at Hampton Beach each summer. It was a family tradition. Her mother especially enjoyed it but had come down with Parkinson's disease and had not been able to do it this summer. She was giving it as a Christmas gift to her mother to remind her of all of the great times they had as a family. Could not have asked for a better home for this piece.
