Hello everyone! Just an informational note from me today... on Senior Sunday!
Many of you are just about to launch into your child's senior year and are now adding senior portraits to "the list". I know this, because I'm getting a high volume of emails. And that's okay!
While my "Senior Sessions" are fully booked, I do have a small handful of Mini Sessions left in October and November. These can be used to capture senior portraits too.
PLEASE NOTE: You do need to check what the cutoff date is for senior yearbook photo submittal at your high school. For ELHS, these remaining Mini Session dates are too late. But for many school districts, they are not. ELHS just happens to be one of the earliest.
My booking calendar can be found here: https://lwpbooking.as.me/
If you do not have a senior, but you are interested in a full "Senior Session" in the future, my Senior Sessions are always announced at 8pm the evening of Feb. 1st - yes, of their junior year - every single year. Therefore, you can mark your calendar in advance now.
And, a further note to say, lots of families accomplish senior portraits with Mini Sessions. And, they do so in many different ways. Some book just one (8 images). Some book 2 or 3 Minis. Sometimes they book them back-to-back. Sometimes they book them the same day, but with a Mini or two in-between so they have extra time to go change their outfit, and/or hairstyle, etc. And, sometimes, they book them over a series of seasons - one in the Spring, one in the Summer, and one in the Fall. Which allows for many different backdrop looks.
Hopefully this breakdown helps a bit with planning. There are so many ways to achieve senior portraits. Including, many other fabulous photographers in the area.
One photographer I wish to introduce you to is CeCe Monteagudo! She is rather new to this area but ran a very successful photography business in her home country, Cuba. She is looking to establish her business again, but here. And she is both a lovely person and a talented photographer. Check her out: https://www.cecemonteagudo.com/
As always, never hesitate to reach out with a question.
Thank you,
Lindsay
