This summer went from quiet to BUSYBUSY** in the blink of an eye.

Smoke N’ Shine. Trash the Dress. Wedding. Year milestones. Seniors.

All while juggling family, summer classes, work… and somehow still showing up behind the camera.

There was a moment I wasn’t sure I could keep up.
But we’re getting it done. Finished a few sessions last night and I couldn’t wait to share a little sneak peek of this one:

Because when a friend looks at you and says, “Can we light my dress on fire?”

You don’t hesitate.

There’s not very reasons you’ll find me out in excessive heat willingly.

But yesterday happened to be a reason you will! I had to get Olivia’s pictures done in time for today! That’s because today My sweet Olivia Grace turns THREE!!

For it being excessively hot, her being extremely cranky due to the heat, and myself dripping (not joking) in sweat? I think they turned out okay!

Little fun fact about me: The 4th of July is my favorite Holiday.

I’ve had an itch to capture a locomotive for a while now. Maybe that’s due to the husband being a conductor? But once I saw BNSF launch their 250th Anniversary locomotives that itch GREW.

That being said, from a car show last weekend, to kicking off my 4th weekend finally finding these locomotives at our HOME terminal?! I have been filled with joy!
