I was up earlier this morning and while my parents were still sleeping, and weren’t expected to wake from their blissful slumber for a few more hours, I engaged the auto starter so my car would fill with nice warm air to melt away the ice on the windshield while I stowed away the air bed I rested uncomfortably on last night. I hopped in the car and headed to where I always do when I visit - the beaches in the Barrier Island. I made a quick stop for a photo with the Fuji X-100F. As I was adjusting the settings I looked down in the view finder and saw the random framing of my feet through the steering wheel. I like the shot not because it’s a great picture but because of the randomness and the story of joyful solitude on Christmas morning before everyone is out of bed and on the road.

Hey Everyone, it's been a while. Last weekend in was in California for the New Age Records 30th Anniversary Reunion. It was nice to both get away for a weekend and experience a different hardcore scene. A few photos from A Chorus of Disapproval Set are up on Flickr. These photos will also make their way over to IG. Sad news today about former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley’s passing. I had the opportunity to meet him at his performance at Dingbatz last year and was very down to earth and appreciated people coming out to see his solo performances. You will be missed.

There was that time that Gabe from the was going to a clinic for care and was randomly stabbed by some white power do**he. He refused to throw it away and kept it as a sort of trophy. There were actual pieces of his flesh still stuck to the shirt. The tshirt was once white now blood soaked. There are a lot of stories of how bad ass were - some actually lived it.
