After a lot of thought and a very full heart, I have made the difficult decision to officially end my journey with photography.
Photography has brought so much into my life over the years. I have been incredibly lucky to meet so many amazing people, work with so many beautiful families, and be a small part of some of life’s most special moments. From pregnancies and newborns to families, milestones, and everything in between—I will forever be grateful that you trusted me to capture memories that mean so much.
What started as a love for photography turned into something so much bigger than I ever imagined. I found so much joy in helping others freeze time and capture the moments they never want to forget.
But somewhere along the way, I realized that while I was so busy helping everyone else capture their memories, I was sometimes missing out on creating and capturing my own.
Being a mom is the greatest gift and most important role I will ever have. I am incredibly fortunate to be able to stay home with my children, and I have realized that I want to pour more of myself into being present with them, making memories with them, and capturing all of the little moments that go by far too quickly.
Life with four children is busy, beautiful, chaotic, exhausting, and incredibly precious. And right now, my heart is telling me that I need to slow down and focus on being the best mom I can possibly be for them.
This decision was not an easy one because photography has truly held such a special place in my heart. I will deeply miss the excitement of meeting new families, watching your little ones grow, and being trusted with moments you can never get back.
I will be finishing up the few remaining sessions I have scheduled through the end of this month, and after that, I will officially be closing this chapter.
Although I am sad to say goodbye to this part of my life, I am so incredibly thankful for every single person who supported me, booked with me, shared my work, recommended me, and trusted me with their memories. You have made this journey more special than you will ever know.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your stories and your memories. I hope that when you look back at the photos I captured for you, they bring you right back to those special moments in time.
And while this chapter is coming to an end, I am excited to spend this next chapter making memories with the people who call me Mom.
