I first met these two back in February when I had the absolute honor of photographing Aaron’s proposal to Jill right here in Vail. Getting to capture that “she said yes!” moment was so special—and one of those days that reminds me how lucky I am to do what I do.

Then, this summer, they came back to Vail and we got to spend some time together again for a couples session. I love when a proposal turns into a friendship and I get to continue documenting a couple’s story beyond that one big moment.

Aaron & Jill, it was so good to see you both again and wander around Vail with you. I hope these photos always bring you back to this season of your lives and all the adventures you're sharing together. 🤍

And if you've noticed I've been a little quiet around here lately… it's not because I haven't been working! I've been BUSY with family sessions, weddings, proposals, and all the beautiful people who have trusted me to photograph their lives.

Truthfully, social media can drain me sometimes. I'd much rather be behind my camera, photographing you, than sitting behind my phone trying to figure out what to post. So I'm giving myself permission to share when I have something meaningful to share and not feel guilty when I'm quiet.

I'm still here. Still photographing. Still loving every minute of it.

S & K’s wedding day on the first day of August felt like such a beautiful reflection of who they are together.

These two share a love for adventure. From snowboarding together to dirt biking and exploring the outdoors Mt Princeton Hot Springs was the perfect place for them to get married.

I always love getting to know my couples and hearing the stories that make their relationship uniquely theirs.

He told her the were just going up for the view…but at the top of Eagle’s nest surrounded by the best of the best friends everything changed as he got down on one knee and asked her to be his forever.

There’s something about proposals in Vail. They don’t just happen, they become part of the landscape. Big, unforgettable and a little bit surreal.

She said yes at the top of the world, and honestly there’s better no place to start a story like this!

Colton planned the sweetest surprise proposal under the Covered Bridge in Vail and somehow kept the biggest secret of all: both sets of parents were quietly waiting nearby to witness the moment.
As Colton and Amari walked across the bridge, he got down on one knee and completely surprised her. The joy, happy tears, and celebration that followed made this one of the most meaningful proposal moments to photograph.
