A tragic accident so close to home has left a family facing an unimaginable loss. During times like these, no one should have to worry about financial burdens while grieving.
For anyone who would like to help support this family, here are a few ways you can donate. Every contribution, no matter the size, can make a meaningful difference and help ease some of the stress during this incredibly difficult time.
I will also be posting the GoFundMe link.
Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. ā¤ļø
On Thursday 7/9 Donna and her 13month old son were in a tragic car accident on their way to Anchorage. Sadly, Donna did not survive the crash and her son will remain in the PICU. Many of you have reached out asking how you can help beyond donating to the GoFundMe. First, thank you. The amount of love and support this community has shown has been truly incredible.
Donnaās husband Mat will remain in the PICU with their baby, and with the uncertainty of what lies ahead, close family members are flying in and preparing to stay for an extended period of time. Right now, we simply donāt know how long this journey will be.
Weāre hoping to help ease some of the day-to-day burdens by collecting practical items for the family. If youād like to contribute, weāre accepting things such as:
š¤ Gas gift cards
š¤ Airline Travel vouchers
š¤ Restaurant or coffee shop gift cards for the Anchorage and Eagle River Area
š¤ Grocery gift cards
š¤ Uber cards
š¤ DoorDash card
š¤ Venmo is available as there have been SCAM accounts being made including the one using this flyer as their profile picture.
š¤ Check made out to Mathew Walsh mailed to 310 E 1st Ave., Anchorage, Ak 99501
Donations can be dropped off at The Moonflower Boutique 601 N. Bunker Hill Suite C, Wasilla, AK 99654 Tues-Sat 10-6 and Iāll personally make sure everything gets to the family.
Thank you for continuing to wrap this family in your prayers, love, and generosity. It truly takes a village, and I know every act of kindness big or small will mean more than words can express. ā¤ļø
