There is beauty everywhere. Sometimes we just need to be still to see it.
The other day I was on a hike with my three little kids (ages 5, 3, and 1) and my wife. Once we had reached the end of the hike and turned around, the kids were chomping on the bit to get back to our campsite, so my wife took them on ahead, and left me behind with the one year old (who was in the backpack I was carrying) to slowly make our way back with our dog (Abbie). As I slowly made my way down the hill, I found myself stopping every ten feet or so to take a picture something or another. I sat for a minute and watched a couple of bumble bees collecting pollen from a flower. I took a minute to enjoy the wind through some wheat grass. The hike out had taken about 15 minutes, but the return trip took over an hour. This is one of the pictures I took during that hike.
