Denise Allen Photography Denise Allen is a freelance photographer originally based in Jenkintown, Pa, but has now relocated to Durham, NC

She has a bachelors degree in photography and a masters degree in art education. Denise started her photography career as a catalog photographer twenty-five years ago in Chicago. Over the years, she transitioned to fashion to include lifestyle, special event and portrait photography. Denise is also an art teacher whose creativity is apparent in her photographs. Her laid back personality creates an environment that allows her subjects to shine.

I have just finished a photography exhibit that I have been working on for over 3 years. Actually this project became part of a healing process. A transformative process that helped me to take off a mask that provided an illusion of acceptance and happiness. I know that I am not alone and I am so happy that I get to share this.
