Hi, I’m Mattie!!

I figured it was time for a proper introduction.

When I’m not behind the lens, I’m a proud mother, wife, registered nurse, and—above all—a child of God. Photography began as a passion project to preserve my daughter’s childhood, inspired by the heirloom images my own family captured while I was growing up. As an adult, I cherish the precious memories and simple moments from long ago—childhood and family frozen in time. Soon after starting, others reached out to capture their moments, and I’ve been creating publicly and offering photography services since October 2024. I’ve since grown, learned so much, and found community in the photography space.

With experience in weddings, family portraits, headshots, maternity, and engagement photos, I’m most passionate about motherhood and childhood photography! I love capturing the authentic, the off‑guard, the true emotions of others while creating a fun and comfortable environment. The most important part of all that I do is honoring and putting God first in everything I set my hand to— inspired by 1 Corinthians 10:31: “So then, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all to the glory of [our great] God.” With every photo, I share Bible verses and use my page to share the gospel and the living Word of God. The name Imago Dei, meaning “the image of God,” reflects my true goal: to capture the fearfully and wonderfully made creations of God.
