Hi all,
I'm Orna Naor , a street and documentary photographer from Tel Aviv, Israel.
I'm very honored to have been asked by Casey Meshbesher to do two days of takeover with streetdographer.
By doing that, I'm combining two of my greatest favorite things – photography and dogs.
My own town is full of dogs; you can see them on every street, in the market, at the beach, even during protests. The first day of this takeover is dedicated to the dogs in Tel Aviv.

Hi everyone, my name is Mary .marvels.of.daily.life and I am a Croatian-Australian street and documentary photographer based in Zagreb, Croatia. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to show my work here on streetdographer for a second day.
Immense thanks to Casey Meshbesher for having me and David for suggesting me.
For as long as I can remember, I have loved and owned dogs. And for as long as I have been doing photography, they have been one of my favourite subjects – I will always make a beeline for them when I see them on the street. I love them and have posted them so often that the team at Keep Calm And Carry One asked me to join them as a curator and I can’t tell you how much I enjoy choosing photos for the page every week.

Some of the photos from this collection are “carry ones,” and dogs just being themselves that caught my eye. Some are from an upcoming exhibition that I plan to have in Zagreb in February of next year. For me, as for many people, dogs are more than "just" animals—they are companions, friends, and family members. The photos showcase the love people feel for their four-legged friends, capturing moments where they carry them in various, sometimes imaginative ways. The exhibit's title, "For The Love Of Dogs," is a play on the expression "for the love of God."
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them.

Hi everyone, my name is Mary .marvels.of.daily.life and I am a Croatian-Australian street and documentary photographer based in Zagreb, Croatia. For as long as I can remember, I have loved and owned dogs. The photos from this collection are photos that I have mostly taken in my hometown Zagreb as well as other cities both in Croatia and Europe. Hi, it's Jill Maguire here on Day 2 of my streetdographer takeover. I gotta admit I'm not an outdoorsy person, but I do like to triple-task by walking for exercise, listening to audiobooks, and taking pictures along the way. I call this "Walkography" because I'm not seeking photos or working a scene, but I've got my camera ready in case something interesting happens. These are the lucky dogs I've encountered while walking to the beach and back from my home in southern Maine. I've included a photo of my original must, Brady, as the last image. Thanks again to Casey Meshbesher for allowing me to highlight the dogs I've met and photographed!

Hi, I'm Jill Maguire, dog lover and street photographer here for a 2-day streetdographer takeover. You can find my work at Jill Maguire and Jill Maguire. I got into photography thanks to my dog Brady back in 2008. I dabbled a bit in pet photography before moving on to street photography around 2011. To this day I still love encountering dogs and animals while I'm out with my camera.

For Day 1, I'm showing you my "Unleashed" series, featuring dogs playing on Gooch's Beach here in southern Maine. Rather than getting up close or using flash, I enjoy trying to fit as many dogs and people in the frame as possible. I find this to be an excellent exercise in observation and positioning, though with a very high failure rate!

Hi this is Anna Anna Lithander for my second day of a 2 day takeover of streetdographer. Thanks again Casey Meshbesher for this wonderful opportunity!

Today I am posting pictures from a project called "My Human by Anna." I started the project at a time when I was feeling miserable with my photography, I felt I couldn't do anything worthwhile and I lost my motivation. That's when I thought I should start a project, to not stop photographing. I had never had one before, and didn't really know how to go about it. But I thought it should be of something I liked and wasn't too hard to find. I love dogs. I love tattoos. That was it! Dogs with tattooed owners!
I started asking people I saw in the street, in stores, in pubs, if they would like to be part of my project. Sometimes I saw a tattooed person and I would ask them if they had a dog—many times they did! Almost everyone I asked wanted to be part of it. It's been many fun and emotional photoshoots, and I've met a lot of cool dogs and humans.
Hopefully one day I will make a book out of it!

Hi, I'm Anna Anna Lithander with day 1 of my 2 day takeover for streetdographer. Thanks a million Casey Meshbesher for this fantastic opportunity, I am so happy to have been asked!

Until about 10 years ago, I always had dogs. Now I don't, and I miss having one (or two or three) sooo much. So, when I started with street photography around 2018,  it felt very natural to take pics with dogs in them, I would always see them!
I had a really hard time choosing which photos to post, and had to drop many beloved pictures, but here's a selection taken in different countries. 
What I love about dogs is that they are happy, cuddly, cute, and they almost always spot the photographer before the human does! 
I hope you enjoy the pictures!

“The Life Of Moxie”

Hello again, this is Stephen Leslie Stephen Leslie from London, continuing my streetdographer takeover. When I was child, I didn't have a dog. I didn't actually get one until I was in my late 40s and my son, Fred, was 8. Moxie is a golden-doodle, labradoodle cross who just turned 8 herself this week. She has absolutely transformed our lives and owning a dog has been a far more complex, rich, funny and rewarding experience than I could ever have imagined. So here are twenty photographs of Moxie, arranged in chronological order, that show her growing up and causing pleasant havoc wherever she goes. As a photographic subject, she is one of the best I have ever worked with and it has been an often hilarious privilege to document her life with us.
