I absolutely LOVE getting tell the stories of local businesses, and when I already use them - it's a bonus! I had to the opportunity to photograph my friend Michele doing craniosacral therapy recently. For those of you that haven't tried cranial sacral therapy, I highly recommend it. Balancing Bodywërks has done wonders for me this year!

I had the privilege of sailing with a very fun, gracious group of Norwegians on the retired Coast Guard cutter Sundew during the start of the Tall Ships festival yesterday! Representatives from the Sons of Norway Nortun Lodge sailed on the Sundew so they could welcome the Norwegian SS Sørlandet, before sailing into the Duluth Harbor with the Parade of Sail. I can't think of a better way to spend the day! A huge thank you goes to Bente Soderlind and Sandy Thompson for this opportunity! *Feel free to tag yourself!*

Well, I wouldn't have been out in it today, except I was so curious about what it looked like! It was wicked! According to the Duluth News Tribune northeast winds were gusting over 40 mph near Lake Superior! Thank you Brok for being my driver. :)

Can it be that my Brother in-law is graduating from high school in just a couple months?! Time really flies! It's true, and I'm so proud of him! Congrats John James Hansmeyer!!

I had a great time photographing the Valentine's frenzy at Saffron and Grey today! The flowers are GORGEOUS! There's a couple minutes left to stop in and get your's if you need a lovely gift for your love.
