I’m at the beach house this week with my family taking a little break before the fall/holiday projects fully commence. And I was here earlier this year (right when things were getting weird) and I would take long beach walks to get fresh air and collect shells as I did it. And these are just a few of the Shark Eye shells that I found on my long walks and they are absolute treasure. Mother Nature never not showing off! 🐚🌾

August’s Mood: (She’s a little late to the party this month...) Layering every shade of a summer sunset as we speed twords fall. Taking care of our precious headspace by staying connected with friends and getting as much fresh air as possible. Wearing a full floral headdress when possible. And most importantly, opening our minds. Opening our minds to all of the avenues we can go down to help make life better for our fellow humans. 🌾

Spring to me is a feeling. It’s my favorite time of year because it represents newness, freshness and change. I feel this during spring more than any other time of year. The ground and air are still cold yet tiny buds and leaves start to emerge and reach for the sun. The air is rich with a floral aroma, the bees are humming away, the sun kisses my cheeks and the world around me is so incredibly alive. Thriving. Is there anything better?

I gather inspiration from everywhere around me but from the natural world most of all. I literally live in a local plant nursery (looking at you Ivy Nursery!) and soak up all of nature’s beauty, details colors and smells. Loving this fun video clip of me in my element by my girl and talented videographer Amanda Monroe Finn. We are cooking up a mini movie about what I do for brands, what inspires me most and some BTS of my creative process. I so look forward to sharing more this spring! Keep your 👀’s 🍌! I’ve got some fun things up my sleeve (or kimono I should say) this year! Wrapped a cool project with the crazy talented Amanda Finn today which I will be sharing to my website soon. I’ve also got a great lineup of clients coming this spring which I can’t WAIT to dive into! There are also a handful of studio spaces left for brands in need of imagery in spring/summer 2018. Incredibly excited for this brand new year and all the projects, promise and adventure that lies ahead. It’s exciting to start fresh with new goals that push me to grow and develop as an artist. And since it’s below 20 degrees outside, I’m looking to Paris’s summer pallet to inspire me through winter!
