Jaylen ~ Class of 2027

This is the fourth (and final) child I'll get to photograph for this wonderful family. While I'm sad that there are no more of their children to work with for senior portraits, I'm extremely grateful for all their support over the years.

For Jaylen's session we started out in the Millwork District, then moved to a few other downtown Dubuque areas, eventually going to Dalzell field for some football and track shots. We went back downtown for some night shots, which are always some of my favorites. Tons of laughs and jokes on this session, and we all had a blast. I think Jaylen may even recommend me to others 🤣

Back when I did Ben's senior portraits and we discussed doing photos at graduation time with his friends, I knew it was going to be a fun session.

We met up at Dubuque Senior and spent the evening capturing memories with Tate, Wyatt, Teague, Bea, and Alisha as they celebrated an incredible milestone together. Graduation is about more than just earning a diploma—it's about the friendships, experiences, and memories that helped shape the journey.

From laughs and inside jokes to genuine moments between friends, we were able to create images that I know they'll look back on for years to come. It's always an honor to document these moments and preserve a chapter of life that's over in the blink of an eye.

Congratulations to all of these graduates, and thank you for trusting me to help tell a small part of your story. Best of luck as you each head off to your next adventure!

John absolutely crushed his senior session last night. It was definitely warm out, but that didn’t stop us from capturing some incredible images all over the area.

We started downtown with some classic urban looks before heading out to the Mines of Spain for some nature shots and golden light. Then we wrapped things up at “the Buch” with track and football photos to showcase the sports that have been such a big part of his high school career.

A great session with a great senior. I hope you have a great summer and an amazing senior year, John!!

First of all, congratulations to all of the incredibly talented photographers who were nominated, and to all of the other winners as well.

I’m honestly speechless after taking the gold award in the Community Votes campaign. Truly, thank you all so much. To everyone who voted for me, you are the reason Wes Schilling Photography has become what it is today. What makes this even more humbling is that this recognition happened without me ever asking people to vote for me, which makes it mean that much more.

From day one, I’ve made it a priority to invest in the best equipment available, continue learning new techniques, and constantly grow my knowledge so I can provide my clients with the highest-quality images possible.

One of the greatest parts of this journey has been meeting so many amazing people and having the honor of capturing your milestones, memories, and biggest moments in life. I truly look forward to continuing to do that for many years to come.

My promise is to never forget that without all of you, there is no Wes Schilling Photography. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your support, your trust, and for allowing me to do what I love every single day.
