Elsie ~ Class of 2027
Elsie’s senior session was one of those sessions that felt like a true reflection of who she is.
With a grandmother who is a phenomenal photographer and has already captured so many beautiful nature images of Elsie in Canada and Eagle River, Wisconsin, we decided to take a different approach for her senior portraits. Instead of focusing on the great outdoors, we leaned into urban looks, personality, and the things Elsie loves.
We started with some fun urban portraits, followed by a few beautiful sunset images as the evening light settled in.
Once the sun went down, we headed to River Lights Bookstore in Dubuque, the perfect setting to capture Elsie’s love of reading. There was something so fitting about photographing her surrounded by books and in a place that reflects a little more of her personality.
And because one location could never tell the whole story, we wrapped up the evening with Elsie in her hockey gear.
From books to hockey, city streets to sunset light, this session was all about celebrating the many sides of Elsie as she heads into this exciting next chapter.
What a privilege it was to capture her senior year in a way that feels uniquely her.
