I wanted to jump on here to say a few things. To start, a HUGE THANK YOU for all of your kind words and warm wishes as so many of you reached out during my recovery from emergency surgery. I so appreciate you!
Secondly, I got some inquiries as to whether I was taking photo orders from August 8th and 9th's Bayshore Bash. I am up and running, ready to do so! Again, thank you for your kind patience in wanting to make sure I was ready.
Thirdly, I believe that Susan Supper put a post out a few days ago letting you all know to look to my site for photo links. I'm thrilled those of you who were at this past weekend's UDD trial at Tail Waggin Events on Saturday and Sunday will get to reap the benefits of Susan's skilled work and enjoy the memories she creates. Knowing that I have some time on my hands to heal from surgery, Susan approached me with a fun partnership proposition. While she did the hard work of capturing such fantastic photos, I get to enjoy seeing all of your wonderful pups and her amazing talent as I sort through and edit them! The link will go up on my site as usual and all sales/packages will go through me with Susan Supper benefiting per our partnership! Even though I wasn't there in person, it is so fun for me to go through these photos and be celebrating such wonderful moments had between you and your incredible pups! I can't wait to see you out at finals with Susan in just a few short weeks!

SHINE
Seventy pounds of red sable German Shepherd Dog flies into the water time and time again. Be it a river, dock diving pool, a pond, or any other inviting body of liquid he can manage to find, Raafi wants in! At five months old, my long haired, energizer, frisbee loving shepherd dog joined our family. It has been all I can do to keep him away from the water since. At home he swishes his face in it, digs his feet in water bowls (we work hard to curb this behavior) and has even jumped in the bathtub once or twice! This dog simply delights in being as wet as he can whenever he can and however he can!
Last year, while taking pictures of my waterdog wanna be leaping into Schroon Lake, something caught my eye…. Not only did it catch my eye but it clicked in my brain and something shifted in my heart.
One of my favorite Bible verses is
Psalm 1:1-3 “Blessed is the person who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and on His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers.”
Raafi spends time in the water because he loves it, it refreshes him, he takes such joy in it. Likewise, My delight is to be in God’s Word… Like Raafi submerged in the water, am I submerged in the Word, in the fellowship, in the relationship with my Lord and Savior?
But see here is where it goes a step further…. If I am walking as closely with my Lord that I am submerged in His Word just as Raafi likes to stay submerged in the water, plunging Into it time and time again with such delight and joy, look at what comes off of Raafi’s coat… look at that water just spraying off….
Without any words or effort, shouldn’t there be a spray off that others notice from my life? Do they? What a thought? What a conviction?
Matthew 5:14-16 says “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Your light must shine before people in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.”

There are three dogs I wasn't one hundred percent sure who they were. Two GSPs with question marks behind there name and a black lab who remains nameless. I apologize! Looking for feedback on interest post!! We are thinking of offering a day for mini portrait shoots at tail Waggin events this year 😊. First, is this something that would interest you all? Secondly, would you prefer Fall or Christmas photos? If we did Christmas? Would Black Friday weekend (having photos to you a week later) be too late for Christmas cards? Below are just a few examples of some very simple fall and Christmas photo examples.

What an amazing weekend spent at Tail Waggin Events United Dock Diving trial!! I had the privilege of capturing so many memories and moments of your incredible four legged athletes that just love to play dock games with their people! Today was a great 2nd day of capturing many wonderful memories at Tail Waggin Event’s Day two of July’s UDD trial! Enjoy a sneak peak of a handful of photos gotten today! Looking forward to the third and final day tomorrow! I believe it’s completely filled so it should be a jam packed day of four legged watery fun!

A very special guest showed up at Tail Waggin Events first day of July’s United Dock Dog’s event! Brody the wonder dog! That cape gave him super powers as he was flying today! Stay tuned for more special appearances!
