Photography has always been my passion and creative outlet. I love the ability it provides to capture a single moment in time, a cherished memory, a smile, a face, a feeling. My affection for photography started back when I began studying graphic arts and photography in vocational school. From there I went on to study photography at Grand Rapids Community College during the days of film & darkrooms. My education took an alternative path & I later obtained a BSBA degree from Grand Valley State University. One thing remained consistent, my love for the camera. Today I am grateful for the opportunity to combine my business skills with a love of photography. From the moment of our first contact my goal is to convey how important the small details are. I believe in connecting with my clients not only through providing beautiful photographs, but an overall experience from start to finish. Looking ahead to future portrait sessions I understand the importance of putting precautionary measures in place to ensure the health & safety of my clients. Your safety is my TOP priority.

The following steps will be taken during each session: Increased hand washing and sanitizer will be used. I will wear a protective face covering at all times. Fabrics & props will continue to be washed & sanitized between sessions. Lastly, sessions will be limited to immediate family only.

I enjoy laughing, creating and of course photography. I love that a photograph captures a single moment in time, a cherished memory, a smile, a face, a feeling. I am truly passionate about documenting life, family and moments.
