Sorry I've been MIA. I need to be upfront with you all: my housing situation just collapsed and I'm on a tight deadline to find somewhere stable.

Short version: we couldn't save the house.

Sold, closing's almost here. Everyone's safe, but financially, keeping all of us under one roof again just isn't possible, or optimal, right now. Cat and I are still together, and the family is still the family. We are all just in different households, for now, or maybe longer, but it is supposed to be transitional.

This time it's just me and Buddy figuring out the next stretch financially. Everyone else is squared away!

I hate asking. I'm asking anyway.

Cool thing about my Blind Eyes other than the blind stuff? Their color.

People have said my eyes change based on what I wear, and guess what, they do. The desaturated green-gray base, is highly susceptible to Rayleigh scattering (the same reason the sky looks blue).

Why though? I have what's known as Central heterochromia, which is typically labeled under the "Hazel" box since Hazel = Misc. That said, we actually have TWO colors here, not one. Instead of the colors blending like a watercolor painting, I have two distinct zones.

My base eye color is a slate green. This means technically, my eyes are slate green. In cases of CH, the outermost color is technically considered the "true" eye color.

The amber ring is a "burst" of melanin right at the center. Think of it like a clear contact lense with an amber iris ring on top of a green eye. There's no blending, just copy paste.

So, while my VISION is essentially navigating a 4K world in 120p, I see the 4k of the world using my hands and other senses, but mostly my hands. I feel everything, from the textures of thing's im purchasing, to the tiniest nubs on a bottle to tell it apart from another one.
