First good Redfish of the trip! It ate with 2 feet of fly line beyond the rod tip!! When went to grab it the fish saw...

First good Redfish of the trip! It ate with 2 feet of fly line beyond the rod tip!! When went to grab it the fish sawed through the 20lb leader. Not seeing the fish swim away, but much too dirty to see the fish after it had turned up the muddy bottom, I reached down and felt the flank, and managed to grab him by the wrist and hand him off to to lift him into the boat! Better to be lucky than good!
