You know that moment when you look at a photo on the back of the camera, and you know it's a banger? And you process it, and it completely blows your mind? This isn't that photo. This is the photo that got the neighborhood watch called on me.
This was a great story, though. When we first met, I was walking along the river, looking down to avoid tripping. She was very close to the trail, minding her own business with grazing. When she realized I was Right There, she sounded the alarm and bolted away. This is from when she finally slowed down and looked back to see if I was following. She then continued bolting and sounding the alarm.
Every single animal out there that day picked up the alarm, and it followed me on my whole walk. I had to cross the river before the local wildlife stopped announcing my presence. Probably the loudest nature walk of my life.
