I know many of us who love animals often feel a kind of paralysis because of all the suffering and never-ending injustices and emergencies. We want to do something meaningful, but it can feel like nothing we do is enough.
This is something you can do where helping is direct and brings immediate relief for a very real family and their animals who are suffering right now. And it is simple.
Gina has spent years rescuing animals. Since 2014, actually, which is much longer than many of us. Even now, while struggling to survive in Gaza, she continues caring for more than 20 rescued cats and several dogs, alongside her family. She has not stopped showing compassion, despite 2.5 years of pure hell.
For those of us who know animals are inherently worthy, who call ourselves advocates, rescuers, vegans or simply compassionate people, this is something tangible we can do.
3 people giving €20 each provides an entire day of food and basic supplies for Gina, her family and the cats who depend on her.
No one person has to carry the whole burden. But together, we can keep an animal rescuer and the lives she protects going one day at a time.
They are currently eating only 2 meals per week. YES. You read that right. 1 meal every 3-4 days. Sometimes even less.
