REEL: Around 11:30 hours on May 23, 2026, Detroit Fire Department tapped out, Engines 50, 41, 32, 46, Ladder 23, Squad 3, Chief 3, Chief 6 on the Box Alarm for fire reported in a dwelling. Engine 50 arrived and stretched on a 1.5-story dwelling. Firefighters made a push on the interior and went to the roof to vent, when the second level flashed. Crews were pulled out to regroup and make another attempt. Crews made a good knock on the fire and performed extensive overhaul before going out for rehab. Video by Buff 1 ,

Engine 2 Stretched On A Vacant 2 Story Dwelling On S Jefferson Ave & Webber St. Saginaw PD Reported They Had A Working Vacant Structure Fire On S Jefferson & Webber St. Upon Arrival Engine 2 Reported A Vacant House Fully Involved And Would Be Stretching. No Injuries Or Fatalities Were Reported.
