Hi friends,
I have a bittersweet announcement: I have decided to close my business. I will no longer be taking family sessions starting in 2023 in order to have more time to focus on my family. I am thankful for the chance to work with you and am grateful to you for trusting me to document your precious families for so many years. It has been a gift.

When I look at this mama I am flooded with memories...sobbing together while watching "Little Women", youth camping trips where we had to catch grasshoppers for some weirdly stressful game, going to the pool to giggle and stare at the lifeguards and sitting through countless teacher meetings as adults. Our friendship has lasted over 25 years and it has been a pleasure to be her friend both as an adolescent and as an adult.
She has an enthusiasm for life that is contagious and makes every room she walks into better.

I'm in the thick of family portrait season and one of the things I love seeing is how different each family is. I can have two sessions at the same location, but no two sessions are ever the same because each family brings their own special kind of magic.

This sweet family always makes my heart explode. The way they love each other is precious.

This is my bestie's family and I could write a book about how much I adore them. In fact, I had to delete my first attempt at writing this post because it was quickly becoming a book.

I would not be the person I am without her.
I would not be the photographer I am without her.

She has walked with me through my hardest seasons and is one of my biggest cheerleaders. Her friendship is one of the greatest gifts of my life.

I did a Motherhood session for this sweet mama and her first baby, so it was extra special to be able to capture her with another one of her precious babies.
I could write pages and pages about this woman, but instead I will just say this: I would not be the person I am today, both personally and professionally, without her love, support, encouragement and influence. She is a gift and I am a better person for knowing her.
