Honored to have some pieces included in this exhibition 𝘜𝘳𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘪𝘯𝘨: 𝘚𝘵𝘦𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘖𝘶𝘵 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘪𝘵𝘺 alongside work by other artists from Naropa.

In case you didn't make it to the opening this weekend, the exhibit will be up until February 12th.

It's in a multi-gallery space with lots of beautiful, weird, & thought-provoking work by different artists.

In addition to continuing to work with film, recently I've dabbled more in digital methods and experimented with some really interesting papers.

These notecards were printed onto folded Japanese Kozo made with subtle cloud-like, swirling strands of natural mulberry fibers. When held up to the light, the strands illuminate, imbuing the images with a dimensional layer and with the sensory quality of these fibers' unique texture.

The photographs here reveal the beautiful, wild flora of the Bibb County Glades in Alabama in the lush springtime and include a very rare and endangered species, 𝘔𝘢𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘩𝘳𝘪𝘪 (Mohr's Barbara's Buttons), a perennial beauty endemic to the wilds of the Southeast. Every year around April, a whole field of them bloom at a special place where I like to visit them, and my favorite thing is to lie down among them on the soft earth and watch the clouds pass overhead.

Hey friends, I created a digital version my book, Reverence: A Meditation on Beauty in Thailand, that you can now view online. It contains reflections from living there and visiting farmers, forest temples, schools, rural villages, and an elephant sanctuary. Though it was quite long ago, my time there remains etched on my heart, and it gifted me with serenity and clarity that I still draw on and feel fortunate to share.
