Taking a quick break from the reception because I had to share this.

Today I’ve had the honor of capturing Anastasia & Victor’s wedding at Aristide in Flower Mound, and these two are just the sweetest people. Their story is adorable, their love is genuine, and being around them today has been such a joy.

One thing I’ve loved most is how intimate everything has been. Just close family, close friends, lots of laughter, and so much love in one place. The entire day has been relaxed, laid back, and exactly what a wedding should be.

I’m incredibly grateful to be a small part of their day and help preserve these memories for them.

Now it’s time to get back to the reception. ❤️

If you’re wondering why I sound like I’ve been yelling at a football game for 3 straight days… it’s because my voice had already packed its bags and left two days before this session. 😂

Despite sounding like I was communicating through a broken walkie-talkie, the Cheney family absolutely crushed it and made my job easy.

Behind-the-scenes footage is always fun because you get to see the stuff that doesn’t make the final gallery. The laughs, the chaos, the dad jokes, and apparently one photographer trying to direct a family with whatever voice he had left.

Can’t wait to share more from this session soon. 📸

Summer always feels like it’s gonna last forever until all of a sudden the kids are back in school, schedules are crazy again, and you realize you never got those family photos done.

The Hust family got ahead of it early and got theirs knocked out before summer completely flies by 👏🏼

I know everybody says “we need family pictures” and then life just keeps happening. Trust me, I get it. But these are the kinds of photos your kids are gonna look back on years from now and be thankful y’all took. The laughs, the chaos, the little stages they’re in right now… it goes by WAY too fast.

Whether you want something by the lake, at sunset, downtown, or just somewhere that feels like your family, summer is seriously one of my favorite times for photos.

If you’ve been putting it off, this is your sign to go ahead and book them!!

One thing people don’t see behind the scenes at sessions is moments like this 😂 Ryan’s little sister Jazmine was HYPING him up the entire shoot nonstop and honestly had both of us cracking up.

Every few seconds she was yelling how handsome he was, calling him a model, and just being the ultimate support system. Stuff like that genuinely helps sessions feel natural and gets real smiles instead of awkward posing.

One thing I’ve learned doing photography is it’s not just about connecting with the client, but connecting with everybody who comes with them too. Jazmine definitely understood the assignment 😂

If you haven’t taken your senior pics yet… you’re running outta time 😅

Graduation is literally right here and I’ve got a few spots left over the next couple weeks, but once those are gone I’m done squeezing stuff in.

Unfortunately the week of May 10th–17th is unavailable for personal reasons, but shoot me a message and we can still figure something out around that.

And no , we’re not doing those awkward “stand there and smile” photos. We’re actually gonna make something you’ll wanna post, send to people, keep forever, all that. I’m not a regular photographer. I’m a cool photographer.

Cap & gown, college stuff, or just something that actually feels like you… we’ll figure it out and make it look good.

Texas weather stay playing games… one day it’s perfect, next day it’s cold and windy for no reason 😂

That’s what we got for their prom shoot, but honestly we didn’t even care. We were just out there having fun with it the whole time.
Tucker and Izzy showed up and did their thing, made everything easy on me.

This is what it really looks like behind the scenes vs how it turns out… just figuring it out, moving quick, and making it happen.
And then you end up with prom shots like THAT 🔥
