Here's a Tuesday Tip for you...

Use your notes app.
You know the drill... Your driving to pick up little Timmy from soccer practice and all of sudden your brain decides THIS IS THE EXACT MOMENT that it is going to give you the most excellent idea for your business...

But...

You are eleventy million cars deep on the highway... so there is no way you can implement said idea right then.

Thats where the notes app(s) come in.

šŸ“£ It doesn't matter if you use the text version (use the voice to text option and just talk) or the voice memo version. šŸ“£
For a lack of a better term—just word vomit all the things.

The idea will be there when you have time to flesh it out and implement.

šŸ’¬ OK BONUS Tip
If you offer some type of 1:1 support either via text or Voxxer or something else... Create a custom set of stickers to use in place of standard emojis.
I started doing this a couple years ago because there wasn't a red head emoji (yes I know there is one know. ONE! šŸ‘©šŸ»ā€šŸ¦°)

Yesterday, we played.
We ran wild through the blooms at Ruzycki Farms. We laughed, we twirled, we held hands, we let the moment breathe.

This image of Liliana is just one of many from our branding shoot for her upcoming book The Female Condition, releasing January 2026 with SoulWorks Print House. Nearly 20 women joined us—toddlers to elders, daughters, mothers, friends, sisters. Every stage of life, side by side. It was magic.

But here’s the thing.
Branding photography isn’t about forcing your ā€œsignature styleā€ onto someone else’s story. It’s about co-creating visuals that reflect their message, their product, and their power.

For this shoot, I didn’t slap a filter on it and call it a day.
I wrote six different editing ā€œrecipes.ā€
Liliana narrowed it down to two.
We picked them apart. Layered, nuanced, intentional.
Until every color, every tone, every shadow felt true to her and to the story this book is telling.

That’s what branding should be.
Reflective. Responsive. Collaborative.

Not just pretty pictures.
But aligned, strategic, and honest.

Let’s clear something up real quick: Cracker Barrel didn’t rebrand. They didn’t ā€œgo woke.ā€ They just updated a logo that hadn’t been touched since the Bush administration.

A rebrand = identity shift.

**And is looks like they maybe be pulling back on even the logo update, because of all the ridiculous noise. šŸ™„

The 2025 Rivalries uniforms just dropped and this is how you do branding in sports—storytelling stitched into every seam.

Each kit is a masterclass in local pride, scarcity hype, and emotional connection.

😭 Sad note: my Cincinnati Bengals didn’t make this year’s Rivalries class, so I’ll just be over here sulking into my Skyline chili.

We didn't just talk about business.
We talked about grief.
About what happens when the people you've always performed for are gone—and you're left asking, Who am I without the roles? Without the labels?

The question shattered me.
But it also rebuilt me.

And that rebuilding?
It changed the way I show up.
How I work with clients.
How I think about branding—not as performance, but as identity reclamation.

Grief snuck back in louder than expected.
The scales tipped.
And while I’ve still been here, I haven’t really been present.

But this episode reminded me of why I started.
Of why I do this work.
And of what it means to come back—not as who you were, but as who you're becoming.
