I am a late bloomer, and new kid on the block, in this business. But I came to the point in my love of photography, my love of documenting memories for myself and others, that it was now or never. I finally figured out what I want to do when I grow up! I am still learning and growing as a photographer, I have a passion for it. Hello! A lot of life has been happening since I last posted. We moved to a new home Jan 2, about 2 weeks after our cruise in Greece and Turkey. With Christmas in between! To say it was a crazy time is an understatement! We have settled in and love our new home. Our former home is getting closer to being ready to sell but there is still some work to do there first. I can now give all my attention to unpacking at our new home. We are so thankful to God for blessing us and providing this new home for our next season of life.
And speaking of our next season of life. I always come into a new year evaluating the last one and looking at what my energy is and what I want to be focusing on. I was planning to take this year off from photography and evaluate if I wanted to pick it up next year. But I have decided that it is time to retire this year. What a privilege and honor it has been that you would choose me to capture your lovely families and other monumental moments, like your weddings! đź’ś Thank you for that! I knew my time was short when I took that leap into this as a business at age 55. Now I am about to turn 62 and I want use my energy and time on my own photographs and projects.
I will be taking down my business pages from IG and FB in the coming weeks. You will see what I keep photographing on my personal page as I have time to share because I love taking pictures and will keep doing that for my personal pleasure. I just want to say this has been so fun. And thank you for choosing Grace Focused Photography. It has been a labor of love all to the glory of God! đź’ś
