Great example of Blue Room's photography for businesses. This shoot for Langston Animal Hospital included nineteen staff headshots, building interior/exterior, action shots, a quick family session with the owners and their daughter and personal pets, and a bonus gallery of the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo since Dr. Eric is the zoo vet! The most recent issue of the magazine, SOCIAL EASTERN SHORE, features my photos on the front cover AND the back cover. (And several in between). The front cover is from The Bay Affair, Bayside Academy's annual spring fundraiser, and the back cover is from the "Topping Off" ceremony celebrating Thomas Hospital's new expansion. Thanks to all for giving me these photo opportunities!

A realtor who had been using a low pixel iphone 8 photo just received a dozen compliments this past week on her new headshot! She is one of several realtors who have joined Blue Heron Realty (Daphne/Mobile) in the past few months and I have been hired to photograph their new headshots. The sessions are outside and at different times so we have to "dance with the tripod" to finally find the right spot! Now, with the stale headshot gone, the realtors are feeling good about what they see now on their business cards and the broker's website. A fresh, contemporary headshot increases professional confidence. When I see those headshots in final form, my confidence is increased, too.

Despite too many people for one couch, and brash overhead spotlights casting shadows on faces, I made this shoot work by bringing in portable studio lights, and posing people on parts of the couch not normally used unless you are cat. This planned shoot with Blue Room Photography features the team members in the corporate logo color (blue), posing on what they sell: beautiful leather and fabric couches, chairs, and accessories. Choosing one sofa among the many vignettes in the store was a hard decision but it was made well ahead of time. The shoot only took 30 minutes so everyone could get back to work! Congratulations to La-Z-Boy Galleries in Pensacola for being one of the top ten stores in the nation in sales two years in a row! hashtag hashtag hashtag

Today, a promo featuring a Blue Room photo landed in my inbox, and it reminded me why all the work is worth it.

Fashion shoots take a lot of planning and time, mostly from the retailer and the models. I just show up with a camera and a light or two.

Huge credit to Private Gallery Boutique for planning the clothing themes and transporting so many outfits and accessories to the Fairhope Yacht Club - Members. We battled the wind, worked around beach construction, the models had to change in a bathroom, and we raced to get it all done before the sun went down.

Photos take work, but they last forever. I love seeing Blue Room's images out in the world working for my clients! Plus, I loved working with this fun group!
