The bride being surrounded by the people who have been there through it all with her, the giddy excitement and joy that radiates through the room and the quiet moments that happen when no one is watching. Something I enjoy so much as a wedding photographer is photographing wedding day details. Styling an invitation suite truly never gets old to me. It feels like an expression of art and it highlights the special little details that bring everything together. When Caroline gave me her details box, I was giddy to photograph everything she had designed. Styling her welcome box spilling out was honestly so much fun. So excited to share a little sneak peek into Lauren and Connor’s wedding day at Long Hollow Gardens & Vineyards. Even though the rain came, it made for such a beautiful ceremony in the greenhouse. This spring has truly been so special.

All of the aisle moments from the start of the ceremony with empty chairs to a room full of all of your favorite people watching you walk down to marry your person. Finally after all of the planning and dreaming you’ve put it, you get to walk out hand in hand as husband and wife. There’s nothing sweeter than these moments that bring me so much joy on a wedding day.

During cocktail hour, I love to look for a guest that’s wearing a dress or outfit that compliments and embodies the color palette the couple chose for their wedding. When I saw these dresses and the ladies holding the signature drinks, I had to ask them to be hand models for me! I love how well the colors went with the details I shot a few days before. The light yellows, blues and greens married perfectly. So here’s me geeking out feeling like even cocktails can look like a work of art.

If there’s one thing I’d want you to know about me and my style of wedding photography it would be that I’m always looking for the little details to photograph. Documenting the aftermath of your cake cutting, setting up a late night flatlay with all of your fun details and showcasing those signature drinks.. that’s truly where I shine. I’m always on the hunt for little fun gems to add to your gallery to really make it as storytelling as possible.
