We are SafeLand, SafeGulf, and H2S-Safe certified through Veriforce and experienced in ground-level and aerial photography in the oilfield. Based on Texas yet we work in a multi-state are including Louisiana, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. We can also handle product, process, and personnel photography on-site. Currently we are working in the Permian Basin and Wolfcamp Shale In Texas around Midland, Odessa, and Pecos, TX.

Meet photographer Paul Chaplo and curator Bill Mercer to explore "Amarillo Flights: Aerial Views of Llano Estacado Country" The Hazlewood Lecture Hall will be set-up for social distancing. Bring a mask and emerge from your dugout! Admission is FREE. Artwork will be available for sale to take home with you for a great Christmas present! Also you can pre-order a book. The artwork and book show the beautiful color aerial images of the land in Texas and New Mexico including many historic sites such as Horsehead Crossing, Adobe Walls, and the dramatic Palo Duro Canyon to name a few.

COVID-19 Response: Chaplo is still working smart.
We hope and pray that you, your loved ones, and your teams are healthy. While taking prudent measures to reduce COVID-19 exposure, we are healthy and continue to work, providing world-class oilfield photography in the Permian Basin. You will see us in our PPE's, and donning our half-face respirators or P95 masks pretty much full-time now. Our aerial photography operation, using aircraft to cover multiple locations quickly, is untouched, and running full speed. Will will make it through this challenge and come out the other end stronger. We are forging ahead, and as always, operating safely with a 100% safety record in Permian Basin, Midland-Odessa, and now into the Wolfcamp around Pecos, TX and north towards Carlsbad, NM!

Just completed a helicopter aerial photography assignment, working near an airport in restrictive airspace. The results are looking strong as I process the images! Paul Chaplo, photographer offers full-stream imaging services in the Permian Basin and Wolfcamp Shale of Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Most of our current assignments are in the Pecos, TX -- Carlsbad, NM area. We can easily cover multiple photo targets in one flight, and our aircraft does not interfere with operations on the ground. What happens when a historic home is in the right of way for a pipeline or oilfield location? Sometimes the structure is falling down but still part of our cultural and architectural heritage. We as document it for the Historic American Building survey using large format photography. The photographs will be send to Library of Congress. is administered by the Heritage Documentation Program of the National Park Service!
