Buddy Whittington’s soulful slidework is but one reason for the 1990 BUDDY Texas Tornado’s enduring appeal. He and guitarist Michael “Mouse” Mayes (1987 Tornado), bassist Wayne Six (1990 Tornado) and the ever-solid Randy Chez’ on drums took the Category 5 stage at the 44th Annual Dallas International Guitar Festival on Sunday May 1, 2022.
