Empty Chair Photography was founded on the idea of providing high-quality, premium portrait photography. We are a husband and wife team who believe in creating stunning works of art that our clients will fall in love with. My name is Jose, and I've been behind a lens since the mid 90's, when film was still the norm. I've been involved in various creative endeavors throughout the years, from music

and audio recording to video production and animation. In 2008, I returned to photography and have been perfecting my craft since. Constantly pushing the boundaries of my creativity and expanding my technique, I strive to create my own style. I am perfectly happy working in a studio environment, however, what I enjoy the most is taking my lighting setup outdoors on location to create images that are simply magical. My wife, Nitza, is an amazing partner. Experienced in modeling and beauty pageants, she has an excellent eye for setting up the perfect scene. Her attention to detail is unparalleled. Nitza will make sure that every little element, from fixing a dress to noticing stray hairs, is picture perfect. Plus, her infectious personality will make anyone smile.
