I want to share some highlights from my annual high school senior photography conference, where I had the opportunity to connect with and learn from some of the most incredibly talented people in the industry. I truly feel lucky to attend this event each year—more than I can ever express. The day I left, my friend, Shannel, surprised me with the Heart of Fire Pin. It honestly made my heart overflow with joy! Thank you for making me feel so special!! 🥲🥰♥️🔥

I really appreciate everyone's encouragement and support in my photography journey (my clients, FAMBAM, friends, ACI, and MoLight); your support means the world to me.

This year, I entered 10 images of my seniors from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, and they all received awards of excellence, thanks to the fantastic personalities of my seniors!!

We were also featured in the SYNC music gallery and at ACI Lab's tradeshow booth, which was so exciting! I had a blast with the Class of 2025 on senior yearbook picture day! You are all amazing people, so congrats on your incredible images!

Can’t wait to team up with the Class of 2026! I'm feeling energized and inspired! Let’s do it again!!! ☺️🫶

This past week, I attended Imaging USA and celebrated earning my Craftsman from the Professional Photographers of America for contributions to the photography community through teaching and mentoring others. I began this goal three years ago but abruptly stopped when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Fast-forward to this past year, and I decided to hustle, traveling to many guilds to share my love of the business of photography. I truly had so much fun!

I really want to thank my FAMBAM for always hyping me up and believing in me and watching while I had my moment! I want to also thank my dear MoLight OG Fam for both your friendship and constant motivation to level-up just by being you. Thank you to my friends who came to cheer me on, y’all make me feel so special.

Here’s to continuing to strive for more—more goals, more education, more wealth, more fear-conquering, more friendship, and most definitely more life! If you think you can, you surely will. With that, I will keep moving forward.
