Last night I was honored to speak to the Visual Art League of Lewisville. They are a fantastic group! I taught the basics of how to photograph their art for submissions and for their own personal record. I love getting to share about photography and the importance of preserving the things that matter. Also, if you've never been to the Grand Theater in Lewisville you should absolutely go. It's filled with beautiful art on display by local artists and lovely sculptures in their courtyard.

How do you approach your online presence? Did you know you might need different styles of headshots for different things? Sometimes you need to bring a warm and welcoming smile, but other times you need a bit of seriousness or possibly a little drama. Let's create exactly what you need!

I'll be in Lewisville next month sharing with local artists on how to best photograph their work. Artists put their heart and soul into their physical works and then often have to share and promote those creations in a digital or photographed way. I'm going to be teaching the best way to take photos of their work. I can't wait!

Last week I had the honor of partnering with Lynda Moore Homes to provide environmental portraits for an educational event she hosted for other Realtors. What a joy to spend my morning in a beautiful home, and also to meet so many great people. Two of my favorite things, peeking into home floor plans and meeting people! Here are just a small sample of the images we created. Thanks to Lynda for trusting me to create fresh branding images. If you like me, want a peek inside, I'll post the link to this gorgeous home in the comments.....

Senior year goes by so fast.... as parents we want to freeze time and hold onto these moments forever, and that's exactly what a senior session does. It stops time so we can treasure these memories while joyfully launching our children into the next season.

Seeing all the beautiful dresses from the Emmys on social media today, brought this session with Alani to mind. She is ready to walk the red carpet. She definitely channeled her inner movie star and brought absolute goddess vibes. I always love working with a model who knows how to pose and takes direction beautifully.

Let me know if you need a red carpet moment like this for your portfolio, or even just for fun, and share with a friend who's a star at heart.

To say I've been a little bit obsessed with bold color lately, is an understatement! Hayden's bright, fun personality is a perfect match this fun statement dress. We both love a little bit of drama and movement and I think we've captured that with these photos. What do you think?

Sending all the love and hugs to the parents of the class of 26, as they move their "babies" into college dorms. You've worked hard to get them over the high school finish line! Now it's time to let them spread their wings and move into the next phase. Can you believe how fast this year has flown by? Wishing you all cool temps, and easy move-ins!

Also, congrats to Julianna on her acceptance to Pepperdine! I loved getting to know you better over the last year, and I know you are going to change the world!

Class of 2027, it's time to schedule your senior sessions, because your dorm move in will be here before you know it!
