6.27.25 - Four years and now forever ♾️ I am now a married man, and only could have made this happen, lol. Amor, from the moment you came into my life, you’ve been my calm, my laughter, and my heart’s favorite place to land. You are grounded and strong, and somehow you make me feel grounded too. I admire your intelligence, your compassion, and the way you care deeply for others. And, of course, your love for gatos and café—both of which now remind me of you in the best ways.

One year ago from today I had the opportunity to experience my 1st Temazcal Ceremony in Veracruz, Mexico.

During a ceremony, participants will enter a sweat lodge (typically an igloo-shaped hut) constructed from volcanic stone, wood or cement. Once inside, hot volcanic rocks are placed in the center, and water is poured over the rocks to produce steam. Herbs, typically sage or copal, are added to aid the cleansing process.
