Every woman who steps into a Flying Dress has a story.
For some, it’s a birthday celebration. For others, it’s a milestone, a chance to finally see themselves differently, or simply an opportunity to feel beautiful and celebrated.
And sometimes, it’s about so much more.
This beautiful woman chose to celebrate her 67th birthday surrounded by the women who have supported her through her journey. Her session became a celebration not only of another year, but of survival, strength, love, faith, and the people who reminded her that she never has to walk alone.
She is a two-time breast cancer survivor, and the women and young ladies beside her are part of her support system. So she invited them into her session, because this celebration was never meant to be just about her. It was about the village that stood beside her.
This is why I love what I do.
Because every woman has her own reason for stepping in front of my camera. And sometimes, the photographs become about so much more than the dress.
They become a reminder of where she’s been, what she’s overcome, who has loved her along the way, and the life she is still here to celebrate. ❤️

"First let me start by saying thank you for your professional service that you render to me and the women in my family. I was raised to believe that family is important, and over the years I learned that family is not always your bloodline, but the people that God puts in your life who support and care for you. I’m a two-time breast cancer survivor and the ladies that were surrounding me is some of my support group. At 67 years young, I celebrate more than just another year of life, I celebrate survival, strength, love and my journey that God brought me through. My support system reminded me that I never have to walk alone."
