Can’t believe we are already just one week out from San Diego’s inaugural Climate Week!

Our city is so rad for coming together and celebrating all the ways SD shows up for Mother Earth.

Eight days, over 80+ events, all throughout the county, put on by the people, for the planet.

One of my favorite times of the year 🎥

After 13 hours of environmental films, I’m left feeling just so gosh darn grateful and inspired. truly fills my cup (mug)

SDEFF judges see hundreds of films from over 30+ countries 👀

Some 2 minutes, some 2 hours.

But they are all incredible reminders that we are not alone.

Everyone, everywhere has a climate story. Has a problem. Has a solution.

And it’s not just humans that have a story that needs telling.

Many stories are even about how change is working!

There are all kinds of storytellers too.

There are indie filmmakers, high end studios with unlimited budgets, even families with nothing left, picking up a camera to share meaningful stories about the need for change.

Whether it’s watching the unbelievably patient and cinematic works of a Swiss nature documentary or a simple and unassuming film of an 80 year old Iranian man climbing an arid hillside everyday with his donkey, just to water the only green around.

We are connected. We are responsible. And most importantly, we are capable.

I am capable.

As an environmentalist and a filmmaker, these films give me such great hope for our future.

They empower me to take more creative action.

To tell my story.

To help others share theirs.

Create more inspiration and awareness.

Video is SUCH a powerful tool for impact.

And the beauty is everyone carries it with them.

Our environmental community rocks! 🎸 We had an incredible time on Saturday returning as MC for the 7th Annual Benefit Event by the . It makes our heart sing with joy to see so many all of our SD eco peeps in one place 💚

What a treat it was to get to perform with , cover inspiring melodies and share the stage will budding & brilliant young minds 🌎

Thank you so so much for putting together one of our favorite events in San Diego 🍻 This community is doing such incredible work for people and planet and we are grateful for the chance to be a part of it.

Love you all! Keep kicking butt and doing all the good you can do, we need more people like you!

Hello lovelies! Hope you are all off to a wonderful April so far 🌸

We invite you to join us this Saturday from 1pm-6pm for the 7th annual Bountiful Bag Earth Benefit Event!

Your’s truly will be MC’ing starting at 1:30pm and performing two songs, “Times Like These” with and “It’s Time for Action” by the great , right before we lead an absolutely adorable environmental panel with kids!

Looking forward to seeing all our wonderful environmental friendors and to celebrating !

This event has a little somethin’ somethin’ for everybody, bringing together community, music, slow fashion, beer, art, local vendors and so much more!

It’s an incredible honor to witness an engagement out in the wild. It’s something else entirely when it’s your best friends.

Adam asked us to accompany him to surprise his main squeeze .lyn.kahn , in an epic tale of “say yes or fall” on a stunning trail, off the Nā Pali Coast of Kauai.

My guy was like “Rachel said there like needs to be photographers at her engagement or it’s a no go”.

“Soooo, help please?”

And so we did.

She had no idea we were there. We flew in a day earlier as to avoid them at the airport. Stayed on the south side of the island while they stayed on the north.

Texting back and forth with anticipation, preparation, island elation and our relative location as not to risk revelation.

9am, morning of the engagement.

We hop on a shuttle to the park, an hour before them.

Adam had this stunning look out spot picked out about 20 minutes into the hike. We found it and it was hurry up and wait.

Incredibly easy to do there.

After setting up, we took pics for passersby, another couple got engaged that morning shout out

We played the part of whale watchers, watching for our guests to surface. Both rain jacket chunky, hoods up, masks on as not to distract from the moment.

Lila wore a wig, it was great.

I spotted them coming up the trail through the binoculars and we quickly got into places. Kukui Nut Leis and cameras at the ready.

He hit his mark and it was magic.

Knee down, chin up. Absolutely beautiful to watch.

Side note* Sorry to the lady I made move out of my way with a hushed tone and no context.

Rachel looked up to realize the photographers.

He asked, if she noticed them and she did.

He asked if she knew who they were and then she really took us in.

We will never forget her look of realization.

Rachel, we are so grateful to have you in our lives and are very much looking forward to all the surprises and adventures for the many years to come.

Adam, thank you for thinking of us and allowing such an honor to witness and capture this time of your life.

We love you both and are so very happy for you 🫶

We had the best time for our first time on Kauai.

A trip we will certainly never forget.

We are lucky.

We are lucky to wake up everyday next to each other.

We are lucky to have lived this day.

When you look back, you can feel the years just flying by, yah know? It’s not until you stand still can you see ’em coming or going.

Some nights though, some nights we get choked up. Like tonight, going through photos and videos of our past.

We are lucky we get to look back on this day.

This unconventional yet unconditional note on our page.

One of the ding dang bestest of days. *Chef’s kiss*

We are truly fortunate.

But true fortune was sharing this beat of time, moving and being moved, sweaty and surrounded by so many loved ones. You people are magic.

A magnificence reduced to images, videos, fragments and recollections of 24hours.

A bittersweet symphony.

It will simply never happen again. Ehh, it’s sweeter that way, question mark?

Listen to the old folks. “Life doesn’t get better than this.” Though you can’t often see that looking ahead.

But boy howdy can you see it looking back.

If you got the energy, the right partner, the fortitude and can handle some debt, consider doing the big wedding thing, as long as it’s true to you. And for f* sake add photo and video to the budget.

You’ll get a slice of time that gives back until the end.

But that’s just our sappy opinion.

8 years married and in three days, 16 years together. But this day, this day lives on forever.

What a gift you have given us. Thank you for all you did to share 10/16/16 with a couple of knuckleheads like us. We love you all and are so very lucky you are a part of our journey. Here’s to making new memories and to never forgetting the old ones 🫶

A month ago today, we hosted our first ever community cleanup. It was a bit eccentric, just like us. No surprise to you, of course.

We are grateful to all of our family and friends who made it out to one of our favorite days of our nonprofit journey so far. We 🫶 you all

& much love to our friends who have helped make this a reality!

Hosting our own cleanup has always been a part of our dream since day one. Having everyone there join us in costume made it all the sweeter. It will forever live on as a core memory for us 🫶

When we started .more.gooder , we had no idea what we were doing. We just knew we had to begin. We didn’t know how to run an environmental charity, we just knew it felt good to pick up trash.

Of all the ideas we had, there was always trash staring us in the face, everywhere we went.

We knew cleaning up litter was something we could do today. Each day. Until it turned into something more.

And it did. works. It has worked so well that we have even been recognized with an award 🥇 from

All we had to do was lead with our heart and the rest would follow.

We created CleanUp Kitsune in response to all the trash we see people walking over.

All the trash left behind.

We knew that we needed something to capture attention. Another high vis vest would only perpetuate the public’s belief that another is responsible. We needed to be unconventional. We needed onlookers to ask questions.

And so they did. Many people asked if they could join us or If we were hiring, ha.

So we came up with the idea to unite the good hearted geeks like us to bring our community together and to do some good in grandiose garments.

33 lovely humans made it out to our first ever Cosplay Cleanup. In just one hour, we collected 60.38lbs of litter from all around Balboa Park 🚮

CleanUp Kitsune was our beginning at Allgoods.

We have so many crazy good ideas 🌎

Pssst, everything is a crazy idea till it’s reality.

Just find something good you like doing and pour a little bit of your heart into it to make it yours.

That was picking up trash for us.
