Adria Lea Photography

Adria Lea Photography I am inspired in life by the simple, beautiful, and pure moments that pass us by every day. My goal Wow, where do I start?

I would like to say first and foremost that my #1 priority in life is to love my Lord, serve Him, and share about Christ and his desire to have a relationship with every single person. If you are curious, have questions, or just want to hear about it, I would LOVE to share with you! I started Adria Lea Photography in 2007 after I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a bachelors

degree in interior design. It was there I discovered my passion for photography; and took much of what I learned in architecture and was able to apply it to photography. When I started my photography business, I knew very quickly that I wanted to specialize in weddings and have now been capturing these memories for 10 years! I married the man of my dreams in 2014, we have since become foster parents, adopted a sweet little girl, and have two crazy, but sweet and adorable dogs! Our life is one crazy whirlwind of excitement, and I wouldn't have it any other way!! In 2015 I was blessed to expand my team by adding my super talented Associate Photographer, Jessica! She had 10 years of photography experience prior to joining the team, and I adore working with her! Jessica is a seminary wife and mother to three beautiful children. She shares the same love of natural light photography that I do, so I knew right away that it was a perfect fit! One of the most precious parts of our job is building lifelong relationships with our clients because each and every one of them steal a piece of our hearts! I put my heart and soul into personally editing every wedding photo that Jessica and I shoot because I know that a piece of me will live on forever in these photos. Although we specialize in weddings, we pretty much do it all: children, maternity, senior portraits, bo***ir, and family portraits. I am also available for travel and commercial/editorial work assignments worldwide. Message us or click "Book Now" for availability and pricing!

It’s been the sweetest week with three One Year Old Sessions (including Ezra!)! After weeks of being sick and still not feeling 100%, I’m finally starting to get caught up on editing. I’m hoping to have one wedding fished this week and all three of these sessions finished up. It feels good to be back!

The story of a basket: around 6 months after we lost Everett in 2022, I decided it was time to part with some of our baby stuff, since we were finished having kids. I started posting things on marketplace, and all went well. Then I had this beautiful baby bassinet that we kept in our living room. It didn’t make sense to hold onto it, and I’m not the kind of person to hang onto things. I posted it and it sold right away to a family who just moved a few minutes up the road. They picked it up and left, and my heart sunk. I felt crazy for what I was feeling but I started sobbing and couldn’t stop. I wasn’t ready to let go of it, but I had just sold it. I tried to reason with myself: what am I going to do with it? Give as $200 bassinet to my kids for their dolls? It wasn’t until I shared on here that I was struggling and my friend texted (or called?) me and told me that I needed to do whatever it took to get that bassinet back! If it was to become a doll basket, then it was meant to be. It was really all I needed: someone’s permission that it was ok and I wasn’t crazy. I reached out to the woman, but she didn’t get back, and I was so scared I’d never hear from her again! But then the next morning she read my message and completely understood. She had lost a baby once, also. As we all know how the story goes…about a year later, we discovered I was pregnant with our miracle baby, Ezra, and the basket is full once again.

Thank you so much to my friend for this beautiful photo!

Over the last 10 years, we have experienced the highest mountains and the lowest valleys. We have clung to Jesus with every last piece of our soul, and praised him together on the easy and impossible days. I never could have dreamt 10 years ago that we would have a marriage as strong as it is with a love that grows in new ways constantly. I couldn’t have imagined this life. 6 beautiful kids: 4 that are thriving, one in heaven and our miracle surprise on the way! I can’t believe we are in our dream home, making it ours from the bottom up, day by day. Lately, tears of joy are constantly brought to my eyes when I think about this redemptive season and all of the blessings that are being poured over us. I know we aren’t always promised these blessings here on earth, but I will praise God every second for what we are given. I have a feeling this 10th year will be like no other. I love you so much, .church Happy Anniversary!

Sooo have I mentioned that my baby sis is pregnant with her first? I am SO EXCITED for them! One of my favorite things is getting all of her texts asking about pregnancy things and it just fills me up. She’s going to be the most amazing mommy!

We took these photos just before Christmas. We had a small window of time on a cold, misty day, but I love them so much! I also embroidered that sweater for her (their last name is Fry!). I can’t wait to meet my like niece. She is so loved!

I received my black and white scans today from and these are UNEDITED! Are they so talented, or what? Also, major credit goes to my beautiful couple and . Also- if you’ve been wondering any why I’ve been posting so late lately- it’s Photography and editing season and I am swamped! I’ve decided “screw the algorithm, I post when I want,” And this just seems to be the time that’s been working.

Friends, I have had so many of you reach out about Luke, so I wanted to give a little insight. You all have loved him and our family in so many ways financially and through prayer, and you have touched our hearts forever. Truly, thank you.

A few weeks after Everett passed, we caught Luke doing some illegal activity, and he chose to leave the family. Shortly after, we discovered he had committed unspeakable crimes, which I cannot go into detail about. I hope you understand that we must protect his victims above all else. We have seen our lowest lows, and felt God’s hand along the way. We are getting help and trying to find healing in every way we know how. We likely have a traumatizing trial on the horizon and my entire family could really use your prayers. We truly loved him, adored him, and wanted to afford him every opportunity in life, and we are so saddened and devastated by his choices.

Photo by the amazing , whom I am so grateful for!
