We were honored to be a photographer for Attitudes & Attire Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show.

This amazing Charity Organization provides tools to help raise self-esteem, promote ethics and build the confidence necessary to succeed in the workplace. Since 1996, Attitudes & Attire has helped more than 18,000 women. The agency’s Hopeful Smiles program provides dental care to women whose smiles have been damaged by poverty, neglect, violence and illness.

I am always jealous of families with lots of kids. My friend Heidi has beautiful family. Kids just have some special bond, there is this sweetness between them! They are very spontaneous, and I could watch them for hours lovingly interact with each other.

I love, love, love photographing babies :) They are so little for such a short period of time, and I love capturing this moment in time for the family. My images are filled with warmth, bright sparkly eyes and genuine emotion. I go into each session with plenty of patience as well as tried and true tricks to calm fussy newborns, coax reluctant toddlers to shine and make tired mamas look their best.

Hello, and welcome to La Point Photography!

La Point photography was established by my husband Michael and I as the result of our passion for photography. We try to capture precious experiences available to anyone who decides to rediscover their natural sense of wonder in looking at the world.
These gifts await those willing to look at the world not unlike a child - with amazement and delight along with an appreciation for what we have been given.

Originally we focused on fine art landscape photography but since our son was born 7 years ago we wanted to create the artistic and timeless portraits of him that we would be proud to display for years to come.
Together with our passion for photography and desire to create beautiful, artistic portraits for other families, we expanded La Point photography to include portraiture.

We specialize in showcasing the love and joy of families in beautiful, timeless, portraiture and creating custom family heirlooms for our clients.

We have a home-based studio where our goal is to provide the most relaxed, comfortable photo session possible. By doing this, we believe the true personalities and relationships of those being photographed will be captured.

We currently live in Allen TX with our son, and our fury baby Ranger.
