One of the things I love about hymns is how they can say what we can’t always put into words ourselves. “The True Love from the Lord” started as something deeply personal for me, and watching it connect with so many of you has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life.

It’s now out on all the major streaming platforms if you want to listen, and honestly, if you know someone who could use a reminder that the Lord’s love is real and personal, send it their way. That’s the whole reason I wrote it.

I’m curious – is there a hymn that has taught you something about the Savior’s love that you didn’t fully understand before? I’d love to hear about it in the comments.

This has been on my mind all day yesterday. In a day where truth seems to be nonexistent due to many factors, the Lord Jesus Christ has prepared his church to be lead by one distinctly prepared for this unique day. One with judicial expertise to help clarify things that seem uncertain.

I’m very much looking forward to seeing the Restoration continue over the coming years.

Stay tuned for a post on President Nelson.

You see the pattern?😇
Looking back at the succession of prophets, we can see how the Lord truly calls men who are prepared both spiritually and professionally for the unique challenges of our time.
President Gordon B. Hinckley (1995–2008) was a master communicator. In a time when the Church needed to expand its voice to a global audience, he oversaw a dramatic increase in temples worldwide and used media to share the gospel like never before. His skills in communication were exactly what the world and the Church needed.
President Thomas S. Monson (2008–2018) was a veteran and a man of compassion. At a time when the world was facing wars, displacement, and humanitarian crises, he taught service, kindness, and ministering to the one, reminding us that charity and love heal the wounds of conflict.
President Russell M. Nelson (2018–2025) was a world-renowned heart surgeon. At a time when the world would endure the COVID-19 pandemic and rising health crises, the Lord raised up a prophet who understood life, healing, and the power of both physical and spiritual wellness. He even lived a hundred and 1 before he died!
President Dallin H. Oaks, next in line of succession, is a distinguished judge. In a world filled with political divisions, moral debates, and questions of justice, the Lord has prepared a leader who is skilled in discernment, fairness, and standing firmly for truth.
The pattern is clear: God is at the helm of His Church. He prepares and calls prophets who can meet the world’s challenges—not by chance, but by divine design🌸

Lost my job one month before our first baby. Found new job, different hospital network. Baby needed emergency NICU - new insurance covered the exact hospital. Lost job again 3 months later. Prayed about where to move, felt prompted to Dallas (wasn’t on our list). Got job offer while driving there. 7 years later, still here. Romans 8:28 - sometimes God orchestrates our biggest blessings through our biggest ‘failures.’ What’s your story?

– Elder Neil L. Andersen, The Triumph of Hope 🙏

Through Jesus Christ and the restored gospel, we can confidently look forward to eternal joy with our Heavenly Father, our Savior, and loved ones from every corner of the earth. 🌎💛

"Sacred Vestments: J. Anette Dennis on the Holy Priesthood Garment | April 2024 General Conference"

🌟 In her address "Put Ye On the Lord Jesus Christ" during the April 2024 General Conference, J. Anette Dennis discusses the significance of the holy priesthood garment, part of the temple endowment. She emphasizes that wearing this garment is both a sacred obligation and a privilege. Sister Dennis highlights that many religious traditions use special clothing to symbolize beliefs and commitments to God. Similarly, members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints wear sacred ceremonial clothing during temple worship, which carries deep symbolic meaning and reflects ancient temple rituals. 🙏✨

📖 "As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, those of us who have chosen to make covenants with God in the house of the Lord wear sacred ceremonial outer clothing during temple worship, symbolic of the clothing worn in ancient temple rituals."

Join us in reflecting on the profound symbolism and sacred significance of the holy priesthood garment and its role in our covenant relationship with God. 🌄❤️
